About Us

The Green Tray stands out from the crowd.

We suggest at least one wait staff at your corporate event to carry a Green Tray, with all drinks on The Green Tray to be non-alcoholic. Your guests can easily see it, and only take a drink when they see The Green Tray.

There are many reasons why we might choose not to drink alcohol, but, regardless of the reason why, the social pressure can make it difficult to stay alcohol-free. It can be particularly hard during big events such as New Year’s Eve, Christmas, birthdays and weddings, as well as corporate events, where the alcohol is often unlimited and free.

For those who want to stay alcohol-free at business and social events – for life, for a period of time, or just for the night – the pressure to drink can derail good intentions.

Attending corporate (or sponsored) events means coming to grips with free alcohol, and lots of it. It’s easy to be tempted. Even when wait staff or bars offer non-alcoholic options (from sparkling water, fruit juices to mocktails), the wait staff carry these drinks on trays with alcoholic drinks – this is where the temptation is. A tray of drinks is held next to you, the temptation is in front of you. We want to change that.

The Green Tray is a campaign to help people who don’t want to drink alcohol, feel comfortable at your corporate event; feel like they can relax and feel like it’s easy to find a non-alcoholic drink – and that they don’t have to reach across glasses of alcohol to pick a water or juice.

The Green Tray stands out from the crowd.

About Glen Frost

Glen Frost, Founder, The Green Tray

Glen has run conferences, summits, awards and other corporate events for over 20 years; the idea for The Green Tray came when he decided to give up alcohol and found going to corporate drinks function events very challenging. He wanted an idea that was simple, easy and cost effective for venues and hotels to implement, not too imposing, yet effective.
